With HoloTour, we paved the way for a new way to experience the world through mixed reality. Developed for the HoloLens headset, this application allows users to visit iconic sites such as Rome or Machu Picchu from home, combining 360° panoramic videos, interactive holograms, and spatial audio.
At the time, it was a unique project: Microsoft trusted us to push the technical boundaries and bring to life one of the very first real-world applications of mixed reality. HoloTour remains today a milestone in the history of immersive experiences.
